I am of course still teaching and chairing the Studio Production
Dept @ S.U.N.Y. Purchase as well as producing sessions for CMH Records,
Vitamin Records, Mighty Tiger Records, CMG Records and Larchmont
Recordings, the label that I co-own with my friend & business
partner, Charlie Dahan. Check out our website:

Larchmont Recording Inc.
We now have a number of CDs released or soon-to-be released on LRI,
including:
- Future Blues (various artists including Rhonda Vincent,
Sue Foley, Michael Hill, The Hellhounds, Langhorne Slim)
- Sunshine
On Your Back Porch (various artists including Rhonda Vincent,
Stacey Earle, Melissa Ferrick, Randy Brecker)
- Bootleg (Joe Ferry)
- Music To Watch Birds By (The Kestrels)
We are also currently in-production on Celebrating
The Music of Okeh Records, featuring legendary guitarist John Abercrombie, Chris Barron (of The Spin Doctors), blues guitarist Michael Hill and
many others.
My new ska CD, entitled "55:22" has been released on
Shantytown Records. The CD features a number
of my very cool and talented friends Stu Stahr, Phil Wartell, Jerry
Mack, Matt Simons, and of course, the one and only Cyrille. I am
played bass, wrote a number of the songs,
arranged and produced the album. Big Ska will be hitting the road in 2008.
I played bass on the new album by virtuoso guitarist Gil Parris,
Live @ The Next Door. I also played guitar on a series
of Smooth Jazz recordings for CMH including Commonication (jazz
takes on the music of rapper Common), and Much Obliged (jazz takes on the music of Mary J. Blige). The records were co-produced
and co-arranged by myself and Eric Helmuth.
Since completing my Doctoral studies in April 2005 (I have achieved
my Ph.D), I have begun writing a book of inspirational truisms that
I hope to have ready for publication in early 2007. And I have finally
made my paintings available on coffee mugs, T-Shirts, mouse pads,
note paper and tote bags via Café Press (check out: http://www.cafepress.com/joeferry ).
I am playing the role of The Narrator (a/k/a The Criminologist) in The
Rocky Horror Show @ Purchase College Performing Arts Center on November
3rd, 2007. We will be (hopefully) taking the show on the road in 2008.
To my wife Alison, who beat the odds... I Love You and I Thank God For You.
Bless Each Day.
